Firm’s Senior Vice President awarded the CCIM designation, signifying expertise in the commercial real estate profession
The Allen Morris Company, one of the largest diversified real estate firms in the Southeast, is proud to announce that Enrique “Henry” Piñeiro, CPM and Senior Vice President of the firm, has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by CCIM Institute. The designation was awarded during a pinning ceremony on April 11 during CCIM Institute’s Midyear Governance Meetings at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa, Fla.
Piñeiro was among more than 150 designees honored by CCIM Institute and their local chapter members. The new CCIMs have varying years of experience and work in all aspects of the commercial real estate profession. They hail from 37 states and Canada.
“It is an honor to be awarded this prestigious designation from such a highly-respected organization in the real estate profession,” said Piñeiro, Senior Vice President of The Allen Morris Company. “I look forward to working alongside other designees to further advance the Institute’s mission as a valuable resource to industry professionals.”
To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.
“Henry has been a valuable asset and team member since the first day he joined our firm,” said W. Allen Morris, Chairman and CEO of The Allen Morris Company. “His accomplishments throughout his career and valuable expertise that he shares are a testament to his work ethic and dedication to the commercial real estate industry and we are very proud of his achievements and the prestigious designation that he has earned from the CCIM Institute.”
With more than 30 years’ experience in South Florida’s commercial real estate industry, Piñeiro holds various professional designations including the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the LEED AP designation.
Additionally, Piñeiro is actively involved in the community where he dedicates his time to volunteering in several organizations including serving as vice chair of the Miami-Dade County Affordable Housing Advisory Board for 2018-2019. Piñeiro is secretary on the board of directors for Florida International University Alumni Association and on the Professional Standards Committee for the Realtor Association of Miami. He serves on the board of directors of the Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter. Piñeiro is a graduate of Florida International University with a double major in Finance and Real Estate and a Master’s degree in International Real Estate.
