ATLANTA (July 30th 2021) — PlantHouse is coming to Star Metals Offices, the latest installment in West Midtown Atlanta’s $350 million Star Metals District, bringing a wave of modern plant revival with it. The Charlotte-based concept will offer modern ceramics, unique houseplants and host plant-centric workshops. It is scheduled to open on Black Friday of 2021.
Founded in 2018 by the Ryan family, PlantHouse strives to provide a place where all generations can find a common ground with their love of plants. They specialize in low-maintenance tropical houseplants in hopes of bringing something green and easy-to-care for into everyone’s home. PlantHouse’s mission is to create an interactive experience and perfect outing for all walks of life. Whether it is a date night, team-building event or a simple Sunday fun day with the family – PlantHouse never disappoints.
“We are thrilled to have PlantHouse at Star Metals Offices,” said W. Allen Morris, Chairman and CEO of The Allen Morris Company. “The modern office space and residence should incorporate natural greenery and wellness in their design – an innovative concept we integrate in all our projects. PlantHouse shares our philosophy, making it an ideal addition to the Star Metals District.” by Bailey Ryan
Not only can guests participate in DIY workshops to create their own terrarium project, but they can also enjoy the house bar, which offers a wide range of drinks that make a perfect pairing with your plant potting. Whether its mimosas in the morning, seltzers and beer in the afternoon, or “Succulents and Sangria” evening, the drinks are always flowing at Planthouse to elevate the flora experience and a class for everyone to enjoy. You will also have the chance to “talk plants” with their friendly and knowledgeable staff and take advantage of PlantHouse’s complimentary potting service.
PlantHouse will be located at Star Metals Offices on 1055 Howell Mill Road, directly across from Star Metals Residences. Its new home will be 4.400 sq. ft., with a 1,000 sq. ft. mezzanine. This will be PlantHouse’s 4th location on the east coast. The first three locations can be found in Virginia Beach, VA, Richmond, VA, and Charlotte, NC.
